Lowcountry Green Cleaning Services LLC Opens on Folly Beach

On June 25, 2009 Lowcountry Green Cleaning Services LLC opened their doors with the philosophy that it only takes a small effort to make an impact on the world we live in.
Cleaning products contain harmful chemicals such as Acetone, Diethanolamine, Formaldehyde, & Morpholine. These chemicals are released into indoor air, and can be hundreds, even thousands of times higher than the outdoor air in the most polluted cities. “There are almost always environmentally and people friendly alternatives to the toxic everyday tasks and products,” states founder Kerry LaMana, “I hope to bring what I have learned to as many other people as I can. Lowcountry Green Cleaning Services utilizes the most earth friendly products known such as essential oils, baking soda, and vinegar to name a few. Kerry is quick to point out that everything they use you can eat or drink if you wanted to so there is absolutely no environmental impact at all.
As a way of spreading awareness and giving back to the community, Lowcountry Green Cleaning Services implements easy recycling programs in every business they service. Most people feel that recycling is a thing you do at home, but it’s simple to do anywhere. By using environmentally friendly office products such as printers, ink, and paper and services you are doing your part to leave future generations a world in which they can survive and prosper.
