Citadel Coach Kevin Higgins Loves The Game

Citadel head football coach Kevin Higgins has taken many avenues during his thirty plus years in coaching. His journey began not far from his hometown in Emerson, New Jersey. After cutting his teeth with his alma mater Higgins moved on to North Warren High School in Blairstown, New Jersey. To make this Halloween a safe and howwwling success here are some simple steps you can take to safeguard your children by adding these safety checks to your Halloween to-do list. According to Charleston County Coroner Rae Wooten, many Halloween-related injuries can be prevented if parents closely supervise their school-aged children during trick-or-treat activities.  “Roughly four times as many children ages five to 14 are killed while walking on Halloween evening compared with other evenings during the year,” said Charleston County Coroner Rae Wooten. Day of Caring - Wing Gives Back to the Community

Members of the 315th Airlift Wing recently volunteered to give back to the community by participating in the United Way's National Day of Caring. Various members of the wing volunteered to support four local charitable projects. The two main projects wing members volunteered for were maintenance projects at Eagle Harbor Boys Ranch, a ranch for abused or neglected boys and a cleanup project at the Neighborhood House, a homeless shelter and soup kitchen.
